Are you paying your worth???
Dreams are funny. I fell asleep after having a busy day.... completing corporate reports for a friend in the security business, seeing a friend's son graduate from the first leg of managerial school for a fast food restaurant, picking up my measly paycheck and depositing it in my bank, and stopping on the way home to get a diet coke with limes in it.
On the way home, I was talking to my friend on a cell phone who asked me, that when I talked with the owner of the security company, if I had discussed the monetary aspects with her. I told him that I did not.
I came home, checked my email and then took just a quick nap.
ANYHOW, in my dream, the owner didn't just offer me a measly $8/hr as he had purported, but offered me a share in the company and a salary of $100,000 a year to which I was happy and stunned at the same time and proceeded to be in charge of marketing the company as well as keeping up the morale of the employees.
I was in the process of gearing up with my job duties, when the telephone rang... I never saw the results of my pursuits in my job. However, I did wake up very contented.
Does this mean that my money problems are fixing to be over? They do say that you tend to work through your problems through your dreams after all. Who knows???? Do I feel that I could ever be worth $100,000 to a company? Yes, absolutley. Do I feel that a company would ever truly pay me what I am really worth to the company? Not likely during these economic times.
In the meantime, I am grateful that I had a nice dream for a change rather than some nightmares.....
(I few nights ago I dreamed that a car with me had been in the water -- I think it was after seeing a commercial for the Fear Factor in which cars were dropped into a lake of water with people in them -- and I was seeing the water come over the sides of the windows of the car as it came crashing down into the water and the feeling of drowning was too overwhelming -- so overwhelming that I woke up in a sweat!!! My man wiped my forehead and asked me if I was too hot. I said no, not explaining to him the dream I had just had.)
